Post Thanksgiving Shopping - Deals!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were able to enjoy the day visiting (and eating!) with family and friends. We had just three of us at the table for Thanksgiving but I cooked for a crowd since the leftovers are the best part. We then joined family for a dessert feast!
My husband's sister made this incredible concoction -pies baked inside cakes and assembled into a towering dessert! I tried this with my sister a couple of years ago - you can read about that in the blog post HERE. We just tried a single layer. The original concept includes three layers of pies in cakes - I can't imagine how many calories there would be per slice for that!
I have been a little under the weather since Thanksgiving but I did manage to do some online shopping and found some great deals. I wanted to share a few of the places where you can find some terrific bargains (some but not all of these are affiliate links - there are deals to be found in lots of places at this time of year).
Blitsy always has discounted prices on popular brands and many have been reduced even lower for the Black Friday sales. They are also celebrating their third birthday with more special deals. If you are not already a member of this site, please us my link by clicking HERE to sign up (membership is free). Once you are a member, you can get a referral code to share with your friends. I picked up a few Tim Holtz dies that I had been thinking about for great prices.
There are still great deals on the Cricut site - 100 cartridges that are only $14.99 and most others are $19.99. Clearance items are reduced 80% - some incredible bargains to be found on Cuttlebug folders, a Cricut shoulder bag for carrying the original machine or the Expression, some Yudu and Your Story supplies, and more - click HERE to see the Clearance section.
If you don't have an Explore and the Frozen cartridge is something you need now - you can get a special bundle deal on the machine and the images HERE. There is also free shipping in the continental US through today and a $5 off $50 order code - please use the links below and remember to enter your codes at checkout.
Valid: through 12/1
$5 Off Orders $50+ with code: CRICUTBF5
Valid: through 11/30
Get free shipping to the U.S. all month with code FREESHIPNOV
Valid: 12/1 Only
Cyber Monday Sale: Cricut Explore just $229 & $20 off all Explore Bundles
Craftsy has a special deal on classes for Black Friday - all classes are $19.99 or less. Craftsy classes cover a wide variety of crafts so if you have hobbies in addition to papercrafting you might enjoy some of their offerings - especially at these bargain prices.
If you missed Lain Ehmann's True Scrap 6 you can buy individual classes from the event and save $5 on each class. If you want all of the classes, you can add them to your cart and use the code "BLACK" to get all 9 classes (over 10 hours of video) for just $74 (a savings of 45%). This offer ends at midnight Eastern time tonight (11/30) - click HERE to see all of the classes. I really enjoyed this event and I think you will find that many of the classes will fit your interests.
I also found some incredible bargains at the Sizzix Black Friday sale. There are quite a few items for $5 and under - including a number of Tim Holtz dies and embossing folders. You can find that sale HERE.
There are lots of specials on the Silhouette site if you have a Silhouette machine. I was excited to see that the shadow box advent calendar is available again. I made this a few years ago with my neighbor. There is a download card included with the shadow box that has exclusive designs to fit the box.
Finally, Lettering Delights is having a huge sale with 75% off. You can save even more by using the code BETTERBLACK to get 35% off on purchases of $12 or more. Also if you spend $12 between November 1 and 30, you will earn the $29 Harvesting Memories collection for free. Click HERE to go to the site and find some super bargains on cut files, fonts, and graphics.
Have you found any great bargains this weekend? It is always fun to find a deal and there are many more sales that will continue through "Cyber Monday" tomorrow. Happy Shopping!

Hi Debby,
ReplyDeleteI just typed "advent" into the search box at the top right on the Silhouette site. Here is the link to the page with the shadow box calendar (you may have to copy and paste it).
