Safety Advice from a Friend

A couple of days ago, I read a post by my online blogging friend Ellen.  We almost met in person once when I was visiting my Dad in Pennsylvania but something came up and we weren't able to get together.  Her blog is called Card Monkey's Paper Jungle and she is a talented crafter.

Ellen knows several people who have recently had fires in their homes and she has written an excellent post about safety in your craft room.  You can find this post HERE.  Thanks to Ellen for pulling together this information.  There is a lot of great advice in her post.

I've been a bit under the weather - I thought I was catching a cold but I think it must be allergies.  It's great to have spring arriving but I hope the pollen counts go down soon!

  1. HI Diane, Thanks for the link to the info abouit fire prevention. really good advise! I will make a review of my craft room as soon as I get home.
Also I purchased the subscription to the images in Design Space. Love this! I am really enjoying the new software and access to all the images there.
Hope you are feeling better soon. It is really rainy here in Ohio right now. They say we will have a nice weekend and then get rain all week next week. Better than 20 below is what I say :)

  2. Thank you for sharing my blog post, Diane. The more people who read it and take heed, the better, I say. It's a bit of work to inventory your supplies and make sure you're adequately protected and insured -- but it's well worth it, should disaster strike. Gosh, I get more than a little bothered when a break a machine or wreck a favorite piece of paper -- I just can't imagine the horror of losing all my toys to fire or flood.
