Creative Live - Scrapbook Your Story
Have you heard of the site Creative Live? They offer a wide variety of free online classes. Some of the popular topics include photography (posing, business and technical advice), music, home design, travel, podcasting, business advice and much more - all aimed at the creative market.
You can attend free while the class is live. They typically run for a six or seven hour day (with some short breaks) and can be a two or three days or even a week long. The classes are rebroadcast in the evenings while the event is live (but you have to catch the replay in just the right spot at the right time to catch up on anything you miss).
You can watch the live sessions and rebroadcasts during the class days for free and you have the option of purchasing the class if you know that you'll want to go back to it again and again to glean all of the useful information included. I have attended several classes on Creative Live and even purchased one that I thought was particularly helpful
On May 19-20, Lain Ehmann is teaching a two day class about scrapbooking called "Scrapbook Your Story." Lain encourages people to embrace imperfection and not to be intimidated by the "perfect" lives and pages you see online and in magazines.
You can see a video where Lain explains what this class is all about and then RSVP for the live class by clicking HERE to go to the page on the Creative Live site. Lain has a goal to have 5,000 people signed up before the event - so spread the word to your friends!
I have already signed up to attend this class but I will most likely be traveling on the days that this is offered so I may not see all of the sessions. The price to purchase anytime access is only $49 and you can decide whether or not you want to purchase the class at any time.
These are not affiliate links - I just wanted you to know about the class. If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area there may still be a possibility of being one of the in studio audience members (that sounds like fun!). Check for information about this on the Creative Live website.
I hope you have a wonderful day!
