Today is Free Class Day at Craftsy!
Craftsy is a site that offers a great variety of high quality online classes in Cake Decorating, Knitting, Quilting, Sewing, Crocheting, Embroidery, Food & Cooking, Home & Garden, Jewelry, Spinning, Weaving and even a couple of Paper Craft classes! I know that most crafters do more than one type of craft so I thought this special offer would be of interest to many of you.
one of the free classes |
This offer is available only to people who haven't already taken a Craftsy class. If you sign up today to try a class for the first time you can choose from a wide selection of classes, up to a $39.99 value - for free!
If they meet their goal of giving away 10,000 classes, Craftsy will donate $5,000 to DonorsChoose to fund arts education in public schools across the US.
another free class option |
Craftsy classes are online and you take them at your convenience from home or wherever you like. Access to your classes never expires so you can watch them over and over. You can access them from any device with a high speed internet connection - even your phone.
included in the free class offer |
I hope that you will take advantage of this great offer and enroll in a free class. This is a one day event so help them reach their goal of giving away 10,000 classes by signing up HERE today before midnight Mountain Daylight Time. (Do it right now if you can - before you forget!).
I am curious to know which of these other crafts you do. If you sign up for a free class today please leave a comment and let me know what class you chose. Is it to learn a new skill or expand your knowledge of a craft you already enjoy?
Here are a couple of photos of some quilt tops that I have made - I got busy with paper crafting before I quilted them...maybe someday!
Have a great weekend!

Thanks for this post, Diane ;). I signed up for metalsmitting class - always wanted to make my own jewelry. I don't wear very many jewelries but I love one of a kind ones. Maybe I'd learn to make them to give away as gifts too. Thanks again for a very informative post.
