Wedded Bliss (details to follow)

There is a story behind this card, but I'll have to share the details tomorrow.  I have been out and about the past few days (and I have some great new supplies to show from my shopping adventures!). Unfortunately, my crafting time has been limited but that will change tomorrow...lots of projects are in the works.

For those of you who use the Silhouette machines, there is currently a sale on subscriptions to the Silhouette Online Store.  The store is the marketplace for ready-made shapes to use with your machine.  The coupon code is SUMMER and it is good through August 14th.

If you aren't familiar with the store and how it works, there are different ways to purchase images.  If you buy individual images, the usual price is 99 cents.  If you purchase a subscription, there are three different levels:

The Basic level costs $9.95 a month ($8 with the code) and you get credit for $25 worth of images.

For $14.95 a month ($12 with the code), you can have the Deluxe subscription and get credit for $50 worth of images.

The Premium Subscription costs $19.95 a month ($16 with the code), you get credit for $150 worth of images (less than 14 cents an image or around 11 cents per image with the code).

You can stretch your subscription by buying some of the weekly clearance files for only 50 cents a file.   You can also pay for the entire year in advance and get an extra 5% discount.  You credits are good for 60 days, so if you don't use up everything in one month you have some extra time to add files.

You can sign up for a subscription HERE.

I still have credit in my account from my original cards that came with the machines and I like to create my own files so I haven't subscribed - but I do think it is a good value.  I believe that there have been sales with a 25% off code in the past.  If you are interested in a subscription now you could take one of the the lower levels and upgrade if the 25% sale comes along.

I hope you are having a great day!

  1. Diane, I read all of your posts and enjoy them. This one I had to comment on because it is the exact reason that I love your blog. I subscribed to the Northridge Cricut Mag as well. Generally the projects they pick for publishing are well done. But I've seen a couple that shock me and I wonder how they made the cut. But with regards to your post. I never thought to use vinyl in this way before. So thank you for introducing me to a great solution to those difficult cuts. I have two Cricuts the 6" personal and the Expression. But long for an Eclipse I like the lazer feature. I know you went with the Silhouette. So I would love to see you do a comparison of machines. Would it include the Eclipse? Again thank you for sharing your talent with us.
