My husband's mother (and the best mother-in-law ever!) is celebrating her birthday today. By a funny coincidence, today is also my great nephew Henry's birthday. He was born on 8-8-08 and I got the news when we were leaving Felicia's party.
I'll share their cards after they receive them (it may be a little while since I am slow to mail things!). I was "doodling" in the Silhouette Studio software and made this sketch using a cake from the included elements and a background that I drew.
I was out most of the day yesterday and I am going on an adventure with a friend today so I just have a couple of things to let you know about...
Cartridge discontinuations
Creative Memories has listed two of the exclusive Cricut cartridges on the Fall product discontinuations. The cartridges that are being discontinued are This and That and 'Tis the Season. You can see a "look book" of the artwork on This and That HERE and the "look book" for 'Tis the Season can be found HERE.
This & That is a good general cartridge with lots of different images, fonts, phrases and tags. 'Tis the Season is a wonderful Christmas cartridge and I was very surprised to see it being discontinued already. I have no idea how many of the cartridges are still available but if you were thinking about buying either of these cartridges, you should probably order it soon. Rewards Club Special Offer
Creative Memories started a Rewards Club last year. The normal fee is $39 which includes an immediate $10 credit. Hi Diane, I too am surprised to hear they are discontinuing the Tis the Season Cart. I have it and it is one of my favs. I have joined Blitzy and have ordered a few things. Really good prices. Thanks for keeping us up to date on the important things :) Hope your day is great. It is a bit cooler here in OH (normal 80s for August) and they keep saying we might get some rain. Thanks again!
