Thanks for all of the wonderful birthday wishes. I did have a very nice and relaxing day. I did a little shopping and went out for a casual dinner with my husband. It was fun to find out that I share my birthday with a few of you - I hope you had a great day too!
Today is the birthday of one of my little friends in the neighborhood. I designed a card for her but I didn't want to post it until I give it to her - so I'll come back and edit/add it to this post later on today. (I've added a photo of the card but I'll have to wait until tomorrow to fill you in on all of the details.)
The little bicycle in the wreath on my front door certainly was a hit - several people asked where they could get one like it. Well...I got that wreath at the church rummage sale a couple of years ago. After doing some detective work online, I found that it was made by The Valerie Parr Company and sold on QVC. You can read about it HERE. Unfortunately, this version is not longer available. Maybe the company could give more information about the source of the little bicycle
I did find "this year's model" of the wreath HERE. It has a cute little red wagon and picket fence. I don't have any other information about QVC or the Valerie Parr Company so please read the reviews if you are thinking about buying the wreath.
I have lots to do to finish getting ready for the arrival tonight of our son and daughter-in-law but I will try to update this post with the birthday card later today. If things get too crazy, I'll post it tomorrow. Have a great day!

Thank you for informastion about the wreath.
ReplyDeleteI done some quick searching and found these links
http://www.classicredwagons.com/miniatures_c10.htm - miniature wagon
http://www.lilfishes.com/id134.html - miniature bicycle
Also thought that if a person went to a place that sold dollhouse furniture, etc. just might be able to find something or even have seen bicycle Christmas ornaments that may work as well.
I'm on a mission now. :}

Continue your Birthday celebration with you Son and Daughter in Law!. I have a cousin who do not celebrate a birth DAY , but a birth MONTH! But not one MINUTE past midnight on the last day of the month! I think that is a grand idea! Enjoy your reunion!
