Design Studio Updated

When I heard about the terrible shooting in Colorado yesterday, I couldn't believe that something like this could happen again.  I had planned to do a special post to celebrate my 1500th post on the blog but I just couldn't do it after I heard the news.  I'll make a celebration sometime soon - maybe at the end of next week.

If you use Cricut Design Studio, you should know that the latest physical cartridges have been added to the program.  To download the updated font package, go to THIS PAGE on the Cricut website.  Click on the second download button under the heading "DesignStudio Cartridge Content Update."  Be sure to save the file to your computer and then run it to install the new items correctly.

When you install the update, you will see this list of cartridges.  You can see that some of the newest cartridges show at the top of the list.

Once you have installed the update, you will need to reopen your program if it was open when you updated in order to see the new cartridges.

I haven't had a chance to update my Gypsy yet - the updates are often released for Design Studio and the Gypsy at the same time but I won't be able to check the update until early next week.

Blitsy added Tim Holtz Distress ink pads and reinkers to their sale site on Friday.  They even have all of the reinkers for the seasonal distress inks.  If you haven't joined this free membership site yet, please us my LINK to sign up.  Then you can get your own link, refer family and friends and earn credits for future purchases.  They add new items every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and sales last for a week or until an item is sold out or "blitsed."

I also want to remind any of you digital crafters who like Cosmo Cricket designs that their digital products sold through Jessica Sprague are retiring and won't be available after Sunday, July 22nd at midnight Eastern time.  Everything is half price until then - I just stocked up on all of the sets I had on my wish list!  You can find all of their items in alphabetical order HERE.

We'll be making a fast trip to see family this weekend.  Be sure to hug the ones you love - in this world we never know what will happen next.
