Fresh Spring Flowers and new beginnings
Happy Monday! I hope you had a fantastic weekend. We had a short visit with my Dad but it was great to get the chance to see him. My husband and son went back home Sunday afternoon and I am staying with my sister for a few days to help her with some projects - maybe I'll even post some of them here.
I have a few photos to share this morning. The weather was fantastic in Pennsylvania and the sky was so blue. The flowering trees are out in full force - a little earlier than ours in Massachusetts.
I hope these photos got your day off to a bright start. Spring is the season of new beginnings - are you starting anything new? How about trying a technique or a product you haven't used before? Maybe you could challenge yourself to make a different type of project (if you are a scrapbooker, try a card - if you are a stamper, do some stamping in an unexpected place).
I just finished one big project and I am moving on to the next - but I have this strange urge to do some spring cleaning first (probably because I am not home so I can't do it)!

Good morning, Diane. YES, isn't Pennsylvania ("Penn's Woods") glorious as the view becomes verdant with Spring? It makes the typically-chilly winters worth it ... and since the weather was great this winter, I'm glad to be a lifelong PA gal. There's no better time to be here than Spring, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteAs for starting something new (before that urge to spring clean overtakes all the "leftover" time I have), I hope to be installing my new Silhouette Cameo soon, if not today, and learning it. I'd invite you to come over to be my tutor while you're in the area, but it sounds like your sister has snared her. If you and your sister would like a road trip to another crafter's space (all tips welcome!!) DO be in touch and let's make it happen!! :)
Happy Easter to you and your family.
Fondly,

Beautiful photos Diane! There must be some sort of "bug" going around--I did some spring cleaning! Not a lot--just enough to make me feel productive! The next project I am going to tackle is a 3 foot shadow box of my nephew. I have lots of ideas--we'll see how many I get accomplished!

Diane,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful pictures. I took some yesterday that I need to post. Such a great time of year.
Hi Diane,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the beautiful pictures of spring. Out here in western WY the snow is just melting, daffodil and tulip leaves sticking their tips up and it is still freezing at night. We have had some wonderful blue sky sunny days though.
It is nice to know I'm not so weird. I have wished I had my camera at the car wash, although the car wash I use doesn't have colored rags. What fun pictures.
I'm so glad you spend time with your dad. I don't regret a moment spent with my parents.
I too would really like a personal beginner tutorial :-) for my newly installed Silhouette Cameo.
What a perfect Easter picture you posted. Hope is what Easter is all about.
Well, back to the B’day cards I’m making.

Great article! I like you point of view here. I also like your writing style. It appears to me to be persuasive and I like that. I truly enjoyed this.
