Sunday Sneek Peak

It's been a busy weekend and I decided to take a bit of a break for some family time.  I have lots of new projects designed and finally started to do some test cuts this afternoon.

Here is another incire (fold and tuck) design that I created with the Silhouette Studio software.  I'll be posting a tutorial for the method I use to make these designs this week.  You do not need to have the Designer Edition of the software to make these designs - they are easy to make with the basic free version.

It is frustrating to try to make this type of design for the Cricut - the software doesn't allow you to draw your own lines and I haven't been able to spend the time to try to find shapes that will allow me to hide lines to make these cuts.  So, for now, I'll only be designing these to cut with my Silhouette machines.

Lots of people have asked if the baby quilt fabric that I posted was an indication of any "news" (it's funny how many of you thought there was a hidden message!).  No new babies are expected in our immediate family, but my niece is expecting her third child next month.  We are just the "grandparents" (and temporary caretakers) of Jelly the cat.

  4. Well, bummer about the "no news". I don't have a Silhouette so will just enjoy seeing what you post and how to do it.

  8. That picture of Jelly just makes me laugh. Hey I saw some very different photos posted from that blogging convention of you, that you went to ;- ) They were posed a bit more candidly and the person said you had control of the camera. I you trying to hide a different side of your personality from us, Diane, ha ha. Have a wonderful week! I never mentioned Joy, BTW, hee hee!
