Blogoversary Part 7 - finishing the boxes

Welcome to part seven of my Fourth Blogoversary Celebration.  I have had a lot of fun filling the boxes and reading your comments with the answers to my questions each day. The boxes now include over a dozen individual gifts and I think they are almost ready to mail.  I hope you are taking the time to read the comments from other people - there have been some great tips and interesting ideas shared.

I want to thank all of the people who visit my blog regularly.  I haven't posted about this celebration on message boards or forums because I would like the people who have been my readers over the years to have better odds of winning a box.

Here is how the giveaway works:

Just like last year, I have three boxes that I will be filling with gifts that I'll send to three blog readers.  Each day I'll add more things to the boxes until they are full and ready to ship.  You can comment on every post until the boxes are full to maximize your chance to be chosen by random draw.  You don't have to be a follower or a subscriber to win, however, if you enjoy my blog, subscribing by email will help you make sure that you don't miss anything - just click HERE and fill in your address, then reply to the confirmation email to be added to the list.  If you prefer to "follow" you can do that by clicking "Join this site" at the top of the right side column.

If you are a subscriber or follower, you can leave another comment and have a second chance each day as a way for me to thank you for your support.  If you are a Facebook user you can also "like" the Capadia Designs page HERE and leave another comment telling me that you are a Facebook fan.

You can leave comments everyday so you will have multiple chances to be one of the three winners.  Please don't leave more than 3 on one day (1 comment, 2 follower or subscriber, 3 Facebook fan).  When you leave a comment be sure that you don't have the box checked to be notified of follow up comments so you don't get tons of emails clogging up your in box.  Please be sure to leave some way for me to contact you if you are one of the lucky three - you can leave your email address and use (at) and (dot) to help avoid spam.  The step by step directions for leaving comments can be found in THIS POST.

Remember - you can't just leave a random comment - you have to answer the question in the post (so I know you are paying attention!).

Today I have three more things to add to each box.  I was at my local scrapbook store earlier this week and I couldn't resist these tiny bags.  They are so cute for cards or layouts - you can decorate the outside and add tags inside the bags.  I bought both kraft and white bags and I am putting three of each inside each giveaway box.

I also bought some more of my favorite glitter pens by Sakura.  I used these pens on the little tags I made last year for Christmas.

They add just a nice touch of sparkle and I thought they would be a great addition to the boxes - especially if you haven't tried them before.

The last item is a large clothespin- these are fun to use for displaying cards or holding important notes.  These have a Christmas dove design but can easily be altered.  You could take them apart and paint them or simply add paper covering the design.

I used some cupcake and heart patterned paper (from the same K & Company paper pad that is included in the box) and cut pieces to fit above and below the hinge of the clothespin.

You can stand the pin on end...

...or turn it sideways to hold a card for display.

I always keep an eye out for the items that are on sale after the Christmas holidays - the red can be used for Valentines Day and the green for St. Patrick's Day. (I have even separated bags of Christmas M &Ms into red and green - they last a few months and look cute!).

Here is the question for today - be sure to answer it in a comment below.

When do you find time to craft?  Are you an early riser who squeezes in some time before the regular days starts, do you grab bits of time during the day (maybe when your children are napping?) or are you a night owl - working when the rest of your household is sleeping?  Do you do most of your crafting at home or do you get together with others in classes or at crops?  Is the finished product or the act of creating more important for you? Do other members of your family do any crafting?

Thanks for all of the get well wishes!  I took it very slow yesterday and rested a lot.  I am starting to feel better and should be back to normal soon.

One more note - Blitsy added lots of varieties of Card Candi to their site on Wednesday.  Enfys (Going Buggy) uses these legless paper brads a lot.  She brought me some Card Candi from England when we met in Germany and now I can add some more colors to my stash.  The photo above shows one of the Card Candi projects I saw at CHA in 2011 in the Craftwork Cards booth.
Please click HERE to join Blitsy if you are not yet a member - it's free to join and once you are a member you can refer your friends and earn credits to shop on the site.  There are also some Tim Holtz dies and embossing folders, sets of Memento inks and the Xyron Cheetah available on the site now.
Blitsy does not ship outside the US - if you are in Australia, you can get Card Candi from Mandy at Scrappy-go-Lucky.

  1. I usually craft on weekends. I do belong to several crafting groups--3 stamp clubs, and a crop club, so get to get together with other friends to craft. I love to make cards and therefore have them on hand when I need them. I have 2 married daughters who scrapbook. I sent a card to my daughter's father-in-law who is in pretty tough shape in CCU and he was very impressed that the card was handmade.

  2. I love to get together with friends to scrap. I am also blessed to have a room to myself for creating. After work, that's where you will find me!

  4. I usually craft after work or in the evening during the week and anytime I can on the weekends. I just like creating. I am surrounded by men who do not craft but will give me their opinion (when I ask) about what i am making. I am starting to craft with my 2 year old granddaughter (I'll be posting a card that we made for her father), Thanks for the give-away.

  6. I have a scrapbooking room and I can leave my stuff out all the time so I do far more now than before when I had to put everything away. Most of the crafting I do at home is done on the weekend, simply because that's when I have time. However, I do go away for a scrapbooking weekend once a year and I probably do more on that one weekend that the whole rest of the year (well maybe not quite but it feels like a very productive weekend). I do really enjoy the process of crafting but it's also great to see a finished album or a bunch of cards.

  7. I usually craft after I've finished my 'chores' for the day, kinda as a reward. 'Cause once I'm done in my studio...I'm not sure when I'll peek my head back out. I'm a SAHM so I do mine during the day when my daughter is at school. Also, once a month I get together with my scrapbook group and we are there until the wee hrs, usually on a friday night.

  8. I usually scrap in the evenings after dinner and everything cleaned up. Or on the weekends. I do most of my crafting at home, but do enjoying crafting at crops! Wish there were more closer to me. For me the finished project is the most important fact of creating. I have a granddaughter who really enjoys creating with paper. She is now wanting to start her own scrapbook album!

  11. I craft whenever I can find a few minutes of peace, but it typically is at night. I love the whole process of crafting, especially when I start it off shopping with coupons. My favorite part is when I give a handmade card to someone I care about & I get to enjoy their excitement. I have a craft area in my house so I typically work at home. Although it's always more fun to craft with a friend. My son just used my Cricut for a school project &I my daughter just made a scrapbook.

  14. I am a 3rd shifter so I do my crafting at home hit and miss. The daughter, granddaughters and I go about once a month and crop where I do scrapping and we all do cardmaking. The daughter also makes cards at home but we all get together from time to time to make stuff together.

  15. Love today's addition to the boxes. The little pocket bags are such fun and that huge clothespin is awesome. Since I am retired, I craft anytime, usually all day when I am working on a deadline. My housework goes to the devil, but, I don't think my hubby even notices. Thanks for the chance to win and, again, happy blogaversary. patnbobcuddy at gmail dot com

  16. I craft after the kids are on the bus~ I am lucky enough to be a stay at home mom so in between the daily household chores and catching up with friends I am in my craft room. Sometimes in the evenings my kids come in and "play" with my things also...another excuse to craft!
I wish I had a group I belonged to and local friends to craft with but I am a shy person so going out and joining a class where I dont know anyone is hard for me. I am meeting local crafters through the blogging world so hopefully we will all meet soon and craft! Now when I create something it tends to have an end purpose~ a birthday card for a friend, holiday gift for a teacher etc..I am trying to spend more time creating a great piece rather than trying to get it done and move on.
I am glad you are feeling better and thanks again for the chance to win your generous box of goodies!

  17. Although my children are grown I do have a full time job. I craft in the evenings and on weekends when the mood strikes. I have a craft room which was a Christmas gift from my whole family so I am able to go to my retreat. I generally craft alone since my crafting pal moved away... but this suits me just fine. My two daughters do craft on occasion when they need a baby gift or a school decoration! I love the reaction people to my projects... sometimes the CAS cards elicit the most comments!

  23. I do have trouble finding time as I work fulltime as a medical lab tech. I usually craft on a weekend off or sometimes in the evening. I would love to find a group to craft with. My area is a bit craft starved. For supplies we have HL, Wallmart, and just this past summer we got a small Joanns but the management is not too friendly. I believe I would craft more if I had a group to get together with.

  26. I usually find time to craft during the day while my husband is working and the puupy is resting. I enjoy crafting. I like both the act of crafting and finishing the project but, crating is so relaxing and fun to me. I craft at home alone. Sometimes my Sister or Dasughter comes over and we craft together but, most of the time I do it on my own.
I love your blog. Thank you for giving us a better chance to win one of the boxes. I hope I can wn. Thank you again.

  29. I craft on the weekends or at night if I'm not too tired. I have always enjoyed making things and have been pretty good at it since I was a child. Whether I give the item away or just keep it and not even use it is not as important to me as the feeling of making something I like, always a personal feeling of accomplishment for me. Along cards can give me that personal "rush" in a short period of time. Weird huh? Thanks for all you share, you inspire me.

  30. When do you find time to craft? Are you an early riser who squeezes in some time before the regular days starts, do you grab bits of time during the day (maybe when your children are napping?) or are you a night owl - working when the rest of your household is sleeping?
I do it at night or on the squeeze it in on the weekends.
Do you do most of your crafting at home or do you get together with others in classes or at crops?
I am lucky to have my own room in the house, so I craft there.
Is the finished product or the act of creating more important for you?
Actually both, I'm starting to think and do things 'outside the box' for me so creating is just as much fun as what I create!
Do other members of your family do any crafting? My 20 year old daughter moved back in and she has the crafting bug now big time, plus my SD lives with us - she is 11 - and loves crafts. I have opened a whole new world to her in the paper crafting and she is in love with it. She is jealous of the swaps I am in and wants to get in one herself, but I don't know of any with kids.

  33. So excited about this box!! Whoever wins, has a true treasure!
You did a great job putting all these great items together! So Fun!

I used to try to schedule a craft time, but the first time to go was my "craft time." Now I find a few time SOMEWHERE. Morning, Noon Or Nite -- but I try to craft awhile every day! Sometimes I find that the computer EATS my time, but I try to spend a few minutes working with my hands -- scrapbooking, digitally, or cards! The time improves my feelings & stress levels!! It's such a great way to be creative & realize how much we have inside ourselves!!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. ohhhh! Stardust pens! Love them, especially the clear ones!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I love all your "creations"! I like to just let the creativity come when it comes. If I try to sit down and "do" something it usually doesn't work. If I get a brainstorm FIRST, I usually like what I've made. It could be early morning or even late at night (with the door closed so I don't disturb anyone's sleeping). Thanks for the inspirations and the chance to win!

  36. I am a night owl crafter. For some reason I create better during the night than during the day. I always craft at home, this is where everything is and if I went somewhere ele to craft I have to take suitcases full of stuff with me so I could everything I might need handy. Both the finished product and act of creating are important to me. Nobody else in my family crafts except for my cousin's wife who scrapbooks and crochets.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Card making is the craft I'm enjoying the most these days. I make cards more for specific occasions than to have a stock pile! I generally work on my own, but trade ideas with a couple of dear friends. We have known each other for about 50 years and try to get together a few times a year for a card party. Of course, I take pride and pleasure in the finished products, but love spending time with 2 women who mean so much to me!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I do smaller projects after work but most of my work I do on the weekends. I do most of my scrapbooking at crops and do mostly cards and other crafts, like crocheting at home. I try to do some of my pre-work at home, like selecting papers and embellishments I'll use for various sets of pictures and put them in packs to take to my crops.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Wow - your boxes are sure full!!! I find myself crafting mostly in the evenings and on weekends. I always scrap at home :(. I really do not have anyone local that would want to get together. Plus i find it hard to figure out what to bring!! I like having everything i need in one place. I think that I enjoy seeing the reaction of the receivers faces - when I give them something I designed. My husband is jealous because many times i create to give away!! I am the only one in the family who crafts. Thanks for the opportunity to win!!!

  40. I have the best of both worlds in that I am able to work part-time. My Tuesdays and Thursdays are full of errands and chores, but once they are done, I am usually able to get a little crafty. My 11 year old daughter and I also go to a monthly crop. I am not able to get much of my own stuff done while "helping" her, but it is nice to spend time together and create.

Happy Anniversary and thanks for the chance to win.

  45. I am a very early riser but don't always have the time to do such projects so I usually do my crafting whenever I can find the time, whether early in the morning, late afternoon or evening when I'm not able to sleep. Sometimes I will even get up in the middle of the night if something pops into my head.
I do All my crafting at home by myself as I'm the only one in the neighborhood or in the family that does any crafting at all.
I feel the finished product and the creativity are equally important to me.
Thank You for this giveaway opportunity.

  46. I always craft at home. Too much of a hassle to drag stuff around. I'm retired so I craft whenever I want to! :) I have insomnia often so sometimes I am up in the middle of the night crafting. Somedays I am up early and craft then too. Let's just say I try to find as much time as possible to create. I am sad to say that no one else crafts with me. Everyone that does craft....works! They have families and are busy, busy, busy. On the rare occasions that a friend or one of my nieces comes over to craft....I am a happy woman!

  48. I am a stay at home of two "older" kids - one in high school and one a freshman in college. You would think I'd have loads of time to craft, but it just doesn't work out that way. And what were we thinking getting a puppy last summer when the kids are rarely home to take of her?! It's tough for me to spend much time upstairs in my craft area and pay attention to her at the same time. So I squeeze in an hour here and there - during the afternoon, in the evening when others are home, or on the weekend when I"m not busy with family activities.

  49. Now time to answer the question: I fit crafting in whenever possible. Sometime I get up early to do it and some times I stay up late to do it. Although I can't use my cricut in the late night hours for fear of waking my family up. I would love to have a group of friends that are close enough to craft with regularly....but most of my craftin' buddies are far away. I try to get my closer friends into it...but they just aren't. As far of what's more important to me...I would have to say each part is equally important. I love doing what I do to create special items for anyone. I also love the finished product...it's an accomplishment. Thanks for the chance to win these wonderful prize boxes...maybe luck will be on my side this year!

If I want to make something special, and I feel like I need to spend more time creating, then I will spend all afternoon in my craftroom. Since I take care of my 91-year old mother (who lives with us), I do most of my crafting at home. I think both the finished product and the act of creating are important for me. 64. Glad to hear your feeling a little bit better today. Lately, when I take a vacation, I need a few days to recoup.

Wow, those boxes are looking very, very yummy!

Love crafting ever since I was a little girl. When my children were young, would try to craft at every opportunity. I am now a widow, and have retired. Now, I craft when my chores are done, which means I craft morning, noon & night. Once I start, I lose track of time and could craft way into the night.

I love my finished craft projects! Yet, find the whole process exciting: starting with the thought process; hunting for embellishments; the paper; the glue; the many different techniques; and then putting it all together to create something beautiful. I also enjoy uplifting old stuff and make it look new.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I scrap when my chores are finished. It's my reward for work well done. I never get together with friends to scrap, except sometimes I have a friend over and we scrap together but it would be just the two of us.
Most of the time those are younger women and I just share what I have with them. I have not been to a crop for years. Would like to find one though in my area.

  66. My time to craft is anytime I can get to the "room". I just enjoy the idea of taking a few items and putting them together for a finished product. Far more than cooking because crafting items last a lifetime. My daughters just do a few items when needed because they rely on me to do everything.

On weekends I wake up early and do my crafting and some break hanging out with my son and husband. I do most of my crafting at home as there are no classes or others in my community that do crafting. The most important for me is the finished product. I make sure they are presentable and anyone who will get it will love it. My sister and I are the ones who are crafty, but we live at different cities so we only share thru phone and internet.

  76. Good morning and I am glad that you are feeling better.

I am home all day so I am one of the lucky few who can craft whenever she wants too. As an online instructor, I craft when I am not teaching, grading papers, or doing house work. Crafting is my release and has really become my therapy. Because I do a lot of paper piecing, I cut pieces when ever, then in the evening when I am watching TV with my hubby I am working on putting all my pieces together. For me, I work as long as my body will let me, sometimes it is early morning, and sometimes it is late at night. I have even taken pieces in the vehicle with me when we travel.

Thanks again for the opportunity to win one of your great prizes. I am an follower and read your blog daily. I have gained some great inspiration from your blog.

  78. Now that I am "semi-retired", (I prefer that to "unemployed" ;), I can craft anytime I want. I have been able to catch up on things I have wanted to do for years! Still looking for a job, but....

I craft at home,as most of my friends are still working. Although I have posted requests for groups, I have not been able to find one yet. I enjoy the whole process of creating, from designing to completion. Once completed, I save the designs so that I can make numerous copies. Starting in March, I will be selling items at our town once-monthly craft market...outside!!!! Hope it's warm! Most of all, I enjoy giving my creations away and seeing the smile they create on other's faces. Nice.... :)

  80. Being semi-retired, I craft when ever I want to. We have a club with a CTMH consultant that meets once a month to learn new techniques. We alternate one month will be cards & the next will be scrapbook pages. I have a "play day" here once in a while and we have talked about making it a once a month thing either here or at someone else house. I have one sister & 2 neices that craft. Both of the neices got married last year so we did a lot of crafting for them.

  81. Glad you're feeling better! I craft when I can. I have a full time job so I normally craft after dinner during the week and try to be in bed by 11:30pm. On weekends I craft after errands and housework but normally can fit in one full day of crafting. I usually craft at home and sometimes my Mom comes over and crafts with me. Crafting for me is the time for me to slip into another world and kinda forget whats going on around me. LOL Thanks for the great giveaway!

  85. Glad you're feeling better! I usually craft with a purpose - mini-album, taking an online class, or seasonal cards. I craft in the afternoon when my housework and appointments are done but I love day-long and weekend getaways with friends (I get a lot of digital work done at these events). The process is more important to me than the finished product; I'm always surprised to find that "this album is done!" My husband is nearing retirement and I sure hope he can fine a hobby as rewarding as paper crafting is for me. llwymandot310atgmaildotcom

  86. I craft at night when I get the chance (I'm a night owl), but also on weekends. There is a store not too far away that hosts weekend events, and my friends and I get together there. They even have a cottage and we can stay the weekend - once I won a weekend there for my friends and I , that was super!

    ReplyDelete
  87. since I've been retired I've been able to craft in my craft room as much as I want, which is almost daily. I also meet a friend monthly, and love to go to crops and special cropping events. I have always been an "enjoy the journey" kind of person, so creating brings me much satisfaction. I took my DD and DDIL to a scrap B&B for a weekend, otherwise, my DD joins me once in a while.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I finally have a room where I've organized my scrapping supplies and tools and can leave my projects out if I need to - except when company comes and it becomes the "guest" room. I have a group - the Scrappin' Sisters - who try to get together once a month and we go on 4-day retreats twice a year. My DIL is a scrapper when she gets time (she has a 3 YO and a 6 YO) and my new DIL wants to learn (she has a 1 YO and is expecting in Sept.) - so both DILs are kept pretty busy.

Glad to hear you're on the mend,

I craft when i can, usually after i get my chores completed, so that means i don't craft every day! 103. I am fortunate in that I am retired and craft whenever the mood hits me. I most often craft during the day. Sometimes I craft just for the fun of it and sometimes I craft with a purpose (I am on two DTs). Whatever the reason, I always enjoy my crafting time. My 8 yrs. old granddaughter loves to craft with me and is quite the little artist. My older daughter is also a fantastic crafter/artist, but alas, she lives 3 states away, so my only crafting buddy is my granddaughter. I don't have the opportunity to go to classes or crops - none around me, and I do miss them. Being with other crafters is always energizing.Happy the internet provides me the opportunity to get inspiration from others, but it's just not the same as being with other crafters in person. Thanks for your wonderful blog and all your ideas.

  104. I find time to craft at random times throughout the day. I love to craft whenever I can so if I have an extra 30 minutes or so I sit down and do a little craft magic. I am a strict home crafter. It is my "me" time. I do share ideas and tips with my mom over the phone since we don't live close it always gives us a reason to chat.

  105. I never have enough time, I try to sneak in a few minutes in the morning or after work, but usually have more time on the weekends. Can't believe how the time flies. I'm a slow creator. I craft alone, my daughter would love to craft more but she has young children and not much time. My daughter in law is a great scrapbooker, but I make cards. It's fun to see that others get flashes of ideas in the middle of the night, too, then want to get up and start crafting, but can't out of consideration of others. God bless my hubby! glad you're feeling better. Questions this week have been fun and I've learned a lot from your followers. Can't wait to see who wins one of your fab boxes. 109. I am a SAHW so I craft "whenever". If I have a project that needs to be done, I drop everything else and get it done. Of course, I have a dedicated room so I can leave my stuff as it is:-) I have never gone to a crop store, but there is a group of us that get together here at my house for weekends when possible ... it has been a while because of schedules. My daughter-in-law and her mom are in the group. 4 of us also do a border exchange...3 scrapbook borders a month for each person. It helps:-) I love the creation part, but when I finish an album, I feel like celebrating!! We mostly do scrapbooking, but I have ventured into making cards and other things this year:-)

  117. I have always been a night person and tend to be more productive the later it gets. I craft at home and will attend crops once in a while. I tend to talk more and look around at other's handiwork than craft at crops.teehee Therefore, I am more productive at home. The finished product is more important to me because I love it when a plan comes together and the work shows it. Thanks for the opportunity to win one of your fabulous boxes.

  118. I usually craft mid-morning until my hubby comes home from work. Once he comes home, my crafting time is over. I go into my craft room, turn on the radio and the outside world melts away. For me, the finished product is the most rewarding. No one else in my family crafts and my closest friends don't undersstand how I can get so excited over a "pretty piece of paper" so I try to attend SWARMS as often as I can.

  124. I squeeze in my crafting and scrapbooking whenever I can. I do not work and my kids are grown, so I do tend to get more time than some of my younger friends who are busy with family and jobs. I have a nice unused ping pong table in my basement rec. room where I can just leave my projects out. So I can pop in and out to work. I usually craft in the day time, but when my husband travels for work I can be found downstairs until 2 am at times scrapping away. He even offered to help me scrap for a time. I think he just wanted me to get our trips scrapped. We had a creative disagreement...he wanted to just slap the photos down and get the basics documented. I wanted to make things fancy schmancy. He got fed up and is reluctant now to help out. Maybe we can come up with a compromise. But Oh well. I do it mostly for the great feeling I get when I'm creative...I'm a much happier person when I've had my creative time.
I do go to local crops and CKC Buffalo and a great 4 day retreat near Corning NY(twice a year)! I frequent an online scrap site called haveyourwaywithpaper.com and belong to a Yahoo scrapper's group in Rochester NY.

  144. I usually craft in the afternoons and into the evenings. I am a very fortunate, BLESSED person. I have been able to be a stay-at-home mom since my oldest was born. MY baby is now a Senior and I will be an empty nester in August, BooHoo :( I told you before I sell all the cards and things I make and donate the $$ to my church for missions. The ladies at my local Curves buy tons of my things and keep me VERY busy!
I craft only at home ~ far to lazy to pack my stuff up and I have what I need here. NONE of my friends scrap or make cards so I am a lonely crafter ~ but I LOVE it!

  146. I definitely don't craft before going into work. I don't have the mindset for it. Most of my crafting is done on the weekends or squeezed in in the evenings after work and school. I always craft at home by myself. I don't really know any other crafters. It depends on what I'm doing as to what is more important. If I have something in mind that I want to make, then the final product is more important. But if I'm working in my art journal, the process is more important. No one else in my family does crafting. My grandma use to make beautiful quilts and did other sewing projects, but she's no longer with us and I have little patience for sewing.

    ReplyDelete
  147. My crafting is usually done in the morning, before I start my houehold
chores or while I'm doing laundry...It usually turns into hours instead of minutes, as my most time-consuming part is choosing the papers that coordinate! I almost always ask my daughter for advice if I can't make up my own mind...she is VERY
artistic and can draw from scratch better than anyone I know! I enjoy the creating and take pride in the finished product and the appreciation of whomever receives it. It's the whole process!

  150. Glad your feeling better. I am very lucky because I am a SAHW and can create whenever I want. I have a dedicated space and never have to clean up my mess. I don't sleep well so I am up early. I create in between doing the daily stuff. If I have a job to do then all I will do is create until it is done. I have been to a couple of crops but I bring something specific to do. I don't know how people bring all their stuff with them to a crop. I tell people...Why bring all my scrap stuff with me when I have a perfectly good scraproom at home. LOL. I do like the crops for the socialization and inpiration. Most of my creating is done alone because I have no one else to create with.

  151. I usually only get one day every week or so to catch up on my cardmaking... and I have to schedule it because otherwise someone would fill in that time with something else for me to do! It's usually daytime because I have better light that way but I'm usually finishing something in the wee hours of night! I do most of my crafting at home... unless I'm teaching a craft/painting class elsewhere! It's the time spent creating and the finished product BOTH that's important to me. I find I don't need to eat ;o) when I'm crafting so if I could craft 24/7 I'd be a skinny minnie! lol

  160. Hmmm...I find time to craft whenever I can squeeze it in. Sometimes it's early in the morning, although usually that only happens when I'm finishing up a last minute gift the day I need it ;). Often my son and I craft while my daughter is taking a nap. Sometimes we all craft together (they are 5 and 2). Quite often I craft after both the kids are in bed asleep - I can only do it if they are asleep or they constantly come out of their rooms to ask me what I am doing. ;) My mom crafts as well - we actually share a lot of supplies including Cricut cartridges. I have several close friends that come and craft, and since we live in a college town, I open my home once a month to the college girls from our congregation to come and make cards (or whatever) for people. We have a lot of fun those days! Those girls are such great inspiration!!

  166. I'm a late night crafter, and I usually do that on week-ends. My sister used to scrapbook with me, but lost her interest. I've been to some crops but mainly craft at home. I have my studeo set up in the basement and it seems like a big chore packing everything up. Shari (cricutrookie)

  167. Unfortunately, no one I know is into what I do. Most of my crafting is done after my grandson goes to school until I get hem in the afternoon. I'm up very early each day so I don't do much crafting at night. I get too sleepy and make too many careless mistakes. I have 2 sisters in Houston that make jewelry and do jewelry shows. The one sister near me does dipped strawberries for parties and showers. I used to do decorative painting but I can't do that with little ones around. Getting my "E" has been a life and sanity saver for me.

  168. I am a school bus driver, like to come home during the down time from 930 am to about 12 pm and craft before going back to work. I love crafting with others and seeing there ideas. I have gone to stampup parties and love that too.

  170. Before I start with the questions I just wanted to say I love the little Valentine card with the 3 small hearts inside the big cutout heart. As far as when I craft, it's usually at night after everyone else has gone to bed or over the weekend. My daughter comes over every once in a while to craft with me, otherwise I'm pretty much alone in my crafting, (at least for now.) I am trying to get a cardmaking group together at my church. Hopefully this will happen because it will be so much fun to have others to share craft time with. tamiwb1234 at aoldotcom

  171. I try to do most of my crafting when my kids are in school, but I've been known to sneak in any time that I can.

  172. I typically craft in the evenings after supper and on the weekends whenever I squeeze in a little extra me time and I'm usually at home since I have my own craft room. I think with me I'm usually all about the finished product rather than the act of creating. I always have to show it to someone and get approval or comments. My oldest son likes to craft, however he doesn't feel it's very manly to do so, so he doesn't make or take the time.

  173. I usually do my crafting in the afternoons after I have finished my household chores and work for the day. Then after our evening meal is over and kitchen is clean I will do more crafting. I usually craft alone although it would be fun to craft with others. Several members of my family also craft.
