Welcome to the part three of my Fourth Blogoversary Celebration. One more item has been added to the boxes. So far they are identical but there will be some slight differences starting tomorrow.
Here is how the giveaway works:
Just like last year, I have three boxes that I will be filling with gifts that I'll send to three blog readers. Each day I'll add more things to the boxes until they are full and ready to ship. You can comment on every post until the boxes are full to maximize your chance to be chosen by random draw. You don't have to be a follower or a subscriber to win, however, if you enjoy my blog, subscribing by email will help you make sure that you don't miss anything - just click HERE and fill in your address, then reply to the confirmation email to be added to the list. If you prefer to "follow" you can do that by clicking "Join this site" at the top of the right side column.
If you are a subscriber or follower, you can leave another comment and have a second chance each day as a way for me to thank you for your support. If you are a Facebook user you can also "like" the Capadia Designs page HERE and leave another comment telling me that you are a Facebook fan.
You
can leave comments everyday so you will have multiple chances to be one
of the three winners. Please don't leave more than 3 on one day (1
comment, 2 follower or subscriber, 3 Facebook fan). When you leave a
comment be sure that you don't have the box checked to be notified of
follow up comments so you don't get tons of emails clogging up your in
box. Please be sure to leave some way for me to contact you if you are
one of the lucky three - you can leave your email address and use (at)
and (dot) to help avoid spam. The step by step directions for leaving comments can be found in THIS POST.
Remember - you can't just leave a random comment - you have to answer the question in the post (so I know you are paying attention!).
Today I have added one of these adhesive Rub-on sets to each box. These are fun to work with - you can created glittered words and shapes and place them exactly where you want them on your card or page.
Here is the question for today - be sure to answer it in a comment below.
What is your favorite crafting tool - the item you can't live without? Does this change from project to project? Is there a tool you have heard about and can't wait to try - what's on your crafting tool wishlist?
A few more notes...
New cartridges have been added to Cricut Design Studio. Click HERE to go to the download page. You need the second, content download. Be sure to SAVE the download and then run it. The next time you open Design Studio, the cartridges from December and January will be included. I did not have to sign in to download the update (in the past, I have always needed to sign in to the Cricut.com site before the link would work).
There are some great sales this weekend - if you are not busy with Super Bowl parties it's a good time to shop for some deals. Michael's is doing daily deals again and the Sunday, February 5th deal is the Iris plastic scrapbook storage case for just $3.99. There is also a 50% off coupon that they send by email - be sure to sign up for the emails from the stores where you shop so you won't miss any bargains.
A reader wrote in to remind me about the sales at the Tuesday Morning Store. I have found some great deals there over the years. I make it a habit to check any of the off price stores (Marshall's, T J Maxx, Home Goods, etc.) when I am out and about - you never know what will show up there!
There is yet another Creative Memories Cricut cartridge on the way. It is called "Divine Wedding" and there are coordinating papers and albums for the wedding line. It will be available in March. If you are still waiting on an order from Creative Memories from January, I apologize for the delay in shipping. Apparently they had such a massive volume of transactions for the sales that the shipping process has been bogged down - they will catch up soon but I know that it is frustrating to have to wait for your items to arrive. Thanks for your patience.

Another fun box entry!! To answer your question...besides my ATG gun or my Tambo Mono Multi Adhesive a can not live without tool is my Martha Stewart Score Board. I use it for everything!!! I will say something my must have tool beside me changes per project but for the most part it is my score board.

The tool I can't live with out is my atg gun. The tool on my wish list is a good score board I have my fingers cross
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite crafting tool is probably my Cutterbee scissors. I use them somehow on almost every card or project I make. I love their fine precision tip and that they have a cover to keep the tip sharp. Thanks for a great give-away!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower of your blog and have been for almost as long as you have been writing it.

ReplyDeletehmmm... tool I cannot live without? That is hard, I always have my paper, fiskars paper cutter, and some type of glue (stick, glitter, etc).... they are the staples... I am thinking I want to get a Cameo - but I cannot justify the cost... but I'm working on that - lol
ReplyDeleteHugs, antonella :-)
I am loving the stuff in your box! The crafting item I can't live without (besides adhesive) would be my cricut!

Since I can't cut a straight line for the life of me, my must have tool is my paper trimmer(I have 3). I use it in every project to get straight cuts & occasionally to score(if too lazy to pull out the MS score tool). Thanks again for the opportunity. Loved your pics of the Christmas World Show-Beautiful!

I'm a happy follower and I love my dies! In fact I just ordered a doily die and I can't wait until it gets here. I'm already dreaming of what I'll do with it. I love my Cricut, too, but on my wish list is a Cricut Expression. There are so many times I wish that I could cut on a 12" mat. {sigh} Someday!
ReplyDeleteI "like" you on Facebook, too!
ReplyDeleteHi Diane,
ReplyDeleteI am amazed by you first of all. The fact that you went abroad and still kept us all in the loop was amazing. I just can't keep up on a daily basis lol. Thanks for all you do for us. My favorite tool would have to be my 12x12 cutter. I use it constantly when I scrap. I can't seem to cut efficiently with any other cutter. I love all the give aways and it would be nice to win something. I do follow along a little on facebook. I enjoy all your emails and that is sufficient.
Thanks again for all you do.
Carol, jones61405atcomcastdotcom
My favorite go to tools are my ATG, my trimmer, a black pen, pop dots and a corner chomper. I also love my cricut
ReplyDeleteMy fav is the Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive.

The glitter rub ons look interesting. My go to tool is my tweezer bees. I use them all the time. The wish list tool is the pick me up tool for small gems. Don't know what it is called. Saw it on the internet. It's like a pen with some kind of sticky on the tip.
ReplyDeleteThank you

My fav tool is my Gypsy. I take it everywhere. The new tool on my wishlist is the new Ribbon cutter from Imaginiesce and as always the new Cricut cartridges! Thanks for the giveaway!

I subscribe to your blog!! I love the rubons & glitter kit that you have added!!!

Even though my ATG gun malfunctions occassionaly, the adhesive is so good I put up with it. I am also a fan of Tombo Mono. If you aren't happy with you adhesive, you aren't happy. LOL

sure hope the robots can't read my address. Thanks
Love the stuff going in the boxes. I love my cricut expression!!! But I think I would like to have a cuttlebug.
ReplyDeleteI definitely love my ATG gun!! so thankful they started selling those at Michaels. I think my computer is also important because of all the great ideas I get from other people!!
ReplyDeleteikennic at q dot com
Ohh...this is a hard one....I have too many! Mmmmm....will have to say my paper trimmer as no matter how hard I try, I just can't cut a straight line!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower on your blog!
ReplyDeleteOh my favorite tool is my cricut expression. Even if I do not own ALL of cartridges made, I still like to use my machine. Does it change from project to project, well yes. I do not use my cricut for all of my projects. I do own punches and stamps. I purchase embellishments. Just ordered the new tags, bags, boxes and more 2 along with the embossing tool and jell pens. Used markers and they are good, the pens will be better for fine line work.
ReplyDeleteI do not own a binding machine, hot glue gun, heating tool for embossing, quickstik for picking up and sticking little things, the sticky material Diane uses with the fine cricut cut outs (not the zyron), crafting tweezers, and at some point I will get a Big Shot Pro to emboss anywhere and everywhere. Out of all of this list, want to try the sticky material Diane uses. I like to cut fine items with my cricut and use them. I am not happy with the zyron sticker maker on small items.
smgunderscoregdpathotmaildotcom
Right now, my favorite tool would have to be my Cricut. I waited so long to get one. Had to save the $ to do it. Am trying to learn my Gypsy, but that is slow going. Thanks for your wonderful blog ans happy Blogaversary.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite craft tool is probably Glue Dots. They're so easy to use and don't make a mess. I'd really like an ATG thing that puts down adhesive tape, but they're too pricey for me.
ReplyDeleteI love rub ons!!!!!
ReplyDeletemy favourite crafting tool would have to be my Gypsy, I just love creating files on there, planning out my cards, so along with my Gypsy my Expression is a MUST have also,

The boxes are looking really tempting. I may have to go buy some! My favorite tool is my tweezer bees! I use them all the time for holding stuff while heat embossing, to pick up small pieces and the sharp points are great for poking holes or getting gems and jewels put in just the right spot. The only thing left on my wishlist is the Silhouette Cameo.

ReplyDeleteTHOSE BOXES ARE LOOKING BETTER EVERY DAY. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT ELSE YOU PUT IN THEM. I GUESS MY FAVORITE TOOL IS MY CHALK INK. I SEEM TO USE IT ON EVERYTHING. SPELLBINDERS HAS SOME NEW DIES AND EMBOSSING FOLDERS THAT ARE ON MY WISH LIST.
ReplyDeleteThat box is looking very sweet indeed! I love my heat embossing tool and what I can do with it. Heat embossing really adds something special to any project I use it on. :)

My wishlist includes the Vagabon and the perfect paper cutter (still looking for that one!) Thanks Diane!
ReplyDeleteThe boxes are looking yummy! :-) The one crafting tool I cannot live without is my Cricut. I have a hard time making any of my projects without cutting something with my Cricut! I have heard so much about Spellbinders and would love to try them one day! Thanks for the chance to win! :-)

ReplyDeleteI would have to say I guess my favorite tool is my ATG gun. I use it on every project I make. I am very attached to my cricut/gypsy though too. Hard to pick. On my wish list is that new machine you just got. I would like the ability to be more creative and not tied to cartridges. Now going to happen though because I have too much stuck in Cricut. : )
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tool is the Cuttlebug. I can use it with Spellbinders, Sizzex and of course, embossing folders.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say my favorite crafting tool is my Cricut. I absolutely love using it for projects and can't live without it!

Will you hold it against me if I say I can't come up with one single favorite tool? I have honestly sat here for the last minute or so trying to choose just one and can't. I like too many things for different reasons. As far as my wishlist, I would love a Grand Calibur and I would really like to learn more about the Silhouette Cameo. I'm going to remember to add my email tonight! tamiwb1234 at aoldotcom
ReplyDeleteMy ATG, sure makes card making easier.
ReplyDeleteI guess it would have to be my bone folder...or I guess it is called a scoring tool. Makes the things fold easier and lay flat.
ReplyDeleteJust became a FB fan, but have loved your blog. I havent had internet for a while, but I a back. Yay!!

ReplyDeleteOnce again, the boxes are looking good! Your generosity is fabulous! My favorite tool is an unassuming drill punch, mostly because of the ease of use. My most used tool is my tweezers. I have long nails and look quite funny trying to work without the tweezers. I chose the Cricut because I did not want to have to be tethered to a computer to use the machine, but now think that I might want to try the Cameo. It looks to me that Cricut may be headed that way, so if that is what I will have to do, I see the Cameo in my future!

ReplyDeleteokay my favorite crafting tool is or would be my cricut(s) if I could only buckle down - get organized, and LEARN how to use them. I would have a very hard time choosing just one tool as my favourite (I have so many!). However, I think the one that changed my scrapbooking the most is my Cricut. I have the original and the E and love them both. They allow me to make such nice titles for my pages and to create wonderful cards.

ReplyDeleteHi Diane, my favorite tool is a pic I have that belonged to my father, who also loved to craft. This tool helps me in many ways and I use it for just about all crafts I do. There are so many things on my wish list it's hard to pic out just one... I just recently saw on the web that coming out in April is a tool called Super 8, it's a punch that you can use to create designed around your pages, I believe there will be a wide variety of designs.

As a paper crafter for just a little over a year, I have amassed a great many tools. However, the two that I could never live without are my ATG gun and my Tim Holtz distress inks. I am always grabbing for both of them. I don't always ink my edges or distress my paper, but I always, always use my ATG gun. Do my favorite tools change from project to project, I would say yes, depending on the scope of the project that I am working on. Lately, I can't seem to live without my hot glue gun. :)
ReplyDeleteMy wonderful sister in law is always telling me about new tools and techniques that are out there that I have not yet tried, there are many tools that I still would like to add to my craft room, such as many of the Tim Holtz products.
My crafting tool wishlist is long... very long. At the top of the list is the Cricut Imagine and more Cricut Cartridges.
Thank you for the opportunity to win and thank you for continuing ot send such creative information. I never miss reading your emials each morning.

I would definitely say my favorite go to items change from project to project, but some of my favorites are my Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, pink ATG gun, Scorepal, paper trimmer, and foam pop dots. Thanks for the chance to win one of the boxes.

have to say it's my paper cutter followed by my ATG gun...Most tools change project to project, but these remain constant! I'd luv to try TM vagabond & his dies!

1.) My favorite crafting tool is my Cricut Expression. It does not change from project to project, there are so many possibilities with the Cricut.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say that the Pink ATG gun and Spellbinder are on my wishlist along with more cuttlebug folders and dies.
2.) Ia m a FB follower
ReplyDelete3.) I am a blog follower and thank you soooo much for cahnaces to win the surprise boxes of goodies.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite crafting tool is my Cricut although I am enchanted with the items you have made with your Cameo and I am interested in learning more about that if I can make my own designs. I really loved the intricate snowflakes you made at Christmas time and would like to try that idea on my Cricut ASAP and if it doesn't work well then look into a Cameo sometime in the future.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite crafting tool by far is my Cricut Expression! And second is my Gypsy! I would love to have a Scrap'n Easel as a portable layout and work surface and some Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers for coloring in my stamped designs.
ReplyDeleteHands down it would have to be my cricut and gypsy. I can not begin any project without those two items in arms reach.
ReplyDeleteI follow you by email.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan on facebook.
ReplyDeleteMy go-to tool depends on the project, but usually the Cricut and ATG plus a zig 2-way pen. I think my wishlish items right now are more of the Spellbinder sets -- I love to make layers with my Cuttlebug to add the Cricut image to.
ReplyDeleteMy Expression has to be my #1 favorite crafting tool. For Christmas, my husband bought me a ATG so that is a close runner up. Thanks for another chance to win! jennt888(at)gmail(dot)com

ReplyDeleteI love using my Cricut but if I don't use my Cricut I go with my stamps and dies. I would LOVE to get a Silhouette Cameo. It is WAY high up on my WANT list! Hugs- Glora

Your boxes are getting very interesting. haha My "can't do without" tool has to be mt cricut and cartridges. My cardmaking and scrapping has come so far since I got it. (in Dec.,2008) Everything else helps to enhance my work, but no way could I hand cut all the wonderful designs I have available. My next big tool is a Cinch binding tool. I've discovered I like making mini albums.
