Another Heart Design
Happy Monday! It was a busy weekend and I have lots to share but I need a little time to catch up. I'll be back later today or tomorrow with a few organizing ideas with some items I found at IKEA.
I hope you remembered to take your 12 on the 12th photos - if you didn't, go ahead and take them on the 13th - I won't tell on you! I posted photos from our day late last night so there will be two items in the morning email if you are a subscriber.
I did another quick test cut of a heart fold and tuck design. These incire patterns are fascinating me and I keep trying variations. I'll try to get my directions for creating these files posted in the next couple of days - I might even do a video if you think that would help. I used the Silhouette Studio software to make the designs.
I hope you had a nice weekend. Are you doing something special for Valentine's Day tomorrow?

Love this! Can't wait to see how you made it. We don't have any plans for tomorrow. My hubby and I will stay home and spend time together.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty - I will def watch a tutorial! I will be having my annual physical on the 14th :-) Fun, huh? Usually DH and I have a wonderful Filet dinner at home, but he might make it vegetables if my cholesterol is too high!!
ReplyDeleteWow this is amazing and I would love to watch you make it.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I really enjoyed looking at your pictures and reading you comments about them and, secondly I, too, would like to see a tutorial. I learn best by seeing. We are going out for Mexican food tomorrow...it's my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI love this design! The heart fold and tuck is a new technique for me. No plans for hubby & I for Valentines' Day at this point, but we're flexible! lol. TFS.

I love these heart designs - and the more I see of the silhouette, the more I am drooling over it. Just what I need - more toys...
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'd love for you to do a question one time on organizing ribbon. I'm not talking 20 spools - I'm talking hundreds, as I just inherited my grandmother's stash (and I was already a collector). There has got to be a good way to find what is there... some tiny pieces, some rolls, some bolts, ... and then there are the 8 to 10 boxes of lace. I think I have enough for me and 10 of my closest friends for the rest of our lives. I know it's a good problem - but I cannot figure out how to organize them.
My DH and I went to a benefit prime rib dinner last night at our church for Relay for LIfe....Awesome food and entertainment ans all for a good cause :^)
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a tutorial on this. I have been trying to figure out how to do it in SCAL....no luck so far, but I am a complete newbie lol

ReplyDeleteThese incire hearts are intriquing.
Any chance of an svg??
I am with Debbie (from Sugar Land) on what to do with all the lace and ribbon. Mine is lace more so than ribbon.
I would also like to know how to use it up on cards.

Love your heart design and can't wait to see what you found at Ikea!!! :)

ReplyDeleteterrific design. can't wait to see how you did this. i just got a cameo not long ago so i'm interested in learning anything i can about how to use it.
ReplyDeleteLOLJeepers DI, I'm amazed U still have the energy 2 make all these things considering how busy u were w/Ur box's, "makin'the hit"AND dealin'w/ur illness(?) R U Fellin better Yet? As a Novice I too am wondering HOW DID, just as the others. Oh By By I did learn 'HOW-2 down-load,save,open digi stamps
ReplyDeleteon U-Tube.WOW-ZA they've lots of informative lessions. I didn't actually do one yet. Ive a question for all of Ur followers & U 2, IS there any reason why the u-tube tutorials by folks like u-all(blogger) couldn't be trused??
Anyway if anyone has any other suggestion sure would love to hear of some, or concerns.
Wow! You are so talented! Hugs, antonella :-)
ReplyDeleteListen Debbie of Sugarland. You may want to try that new Ribbon
ReplyDeletelazy-susie, I've seen it on so many Blogs now. Also there are the Box's w/the holes, And the Key-Ring
w/the tags, Then there the Tension
Rod on a shelf. As far as Lace goes
the best way is to RE-Wrap it 9i.e.like a straw-wrapper. to keep the lace frm getting dirty/or fm getting shelf worn. I learned to snip a piece, w/a full design 1/4 or 1/8 staple it on a long cardthen on the side list where you put it(i.e. in what clear shoe box AND (where u purchased it price and Amt of material U have)
hope this helps.I'm sure others have more better ideas<(^o*)>
wow wow ...I can see you have the juices flowing..and I'm excited to see what you have in store for us..i would luv a video..and to see the pics....don't over do it,,,don't want a relapse to happen
