It has been quite a week - I hope you have been enjoying the posts this week. If you are a relatively new reader of my blog, you may have seen some things that were new to you. If you have been following me for a while, I hope you enjoyed seeing a few of these ideas again.
This is a simple idea that I first saw in Family Fun magazine. Three candy canes make a great little easel. I never seem to eat the candy canes we have in the house so I usually have some "aged" candy canes around that I can use for crafts. You can read about this candy cane craft and see some ways to use it at THIS POST.
We'll be flying home today - I know that I will have lots of email and messages to catch up with this weekend. I am eager to get back to my craft room and make use of some of the inspiration from this trip for new projects.

Great idea! I'm sure I saw this last year but I just forgot about it. I always have candy canes left over and I don't eat them. Thanks for the reminder on what to do with them.
ReplyDeleteMaybe when you have tome to take a deep breath, you may have time to answer this question. I have looked at several places and have been unable to locate the MS punch that people have making using to make the wreaths on cards--the pine branch punch.

What a cool idea, Dianne! Gonna have to borrow this one. I don't eat the candy canes during the holidays either but I get them from others.
ReplyDeleteA brilliant idea Diane - we don't eat the Candy Canes either - why do we insist on buying them year after year - because they look great on the tree....LOL Now I know what to do with them.... Hugs x
