Cake and punches

The weather was perfect and we had a great celebration day on Sunday.  It was wonderful to see some friends that we haven't seen regularly since our sons were in high school.

Yummy Vegan chocolate strawberry cake for graduation
We had cake, cake and more cake - one for each of the events we were celebrating!

Grandpa's Birthday Cake
I actually have several new projects to share but I have had no time to photograph and write them up - family first this weekend!  I thought I'd link back to another post explaining how to use the Martha Stewart Punch around the Page sets.  I like the quick and easy way the punches work but I also use the Martha Stewart Cricut cartridges (and other cartridges with borders) when I want to make a custom design that doesn't fit into the formula for the Punch Around the Page dimensions.

This LINK will take you to the step by step explanation on how to use the punches.  (The giveaway is long past, but if you click "newer" post - way down at the bottom on the left - you will see six more cards made with this set.  Just click "newer" post at the bottom of each post to move through the days to see them all).

Have a wonderful Monday - I will catch up on the challenges and discussion days this week!
