Elegant Edges

Elegant Edges is the latest addition to my "must have" list of Cricut cartridges.  This cartridge has so many great cuts for both cardmakers and scrapbookers and is incredibly versatile with a variety of creative options.

I have written a review about Elegant Edges.  You'll find it on the Scrappy-Go-Lucky blog - just click HERE.  In the review I have included directions showing how to make cards (the one item missing from the cartridge) with the wonderful edge cuts included on the Elegant Edges.

Please pop over and visit the Scrappy-Go-Lucky blog to see my post and be sure to check out the amazing flowers that were submitted for the Imagine giveaway competition by scrolling back a few posts.

We are home from our trip - safe and sound though it did start raining fairly hard and the prediction is rain for the entire week.  Just to clear up any confusion, we were in Madison, New Jersey - not Madison, Wisconsin.  My sister and brother-in-law who have the bed and breakfast are near Madison, Wisconsin, in Albany (not to be confused with Albany, New York!).  Why do so many place names get repeated over and over?

I have given away all of the flowers with the three month Cricut Circle memberships.  I am sorry that I didn't have enough to give one to everyone who was interested.  In the end, nearly all of the flowers went to people that are in my geographic area in the hopes that I can arrange a get together and deliver the actual flowers in person.

One more reminder - if you are leaving a long comment in reply to the Discussion Day questions, be sure to copy it into another document (such as a draft email) before you try to post the comment.  Sometimes, if comments are too long they won't post and just disappear which can be very frustrating!

  2. Such a pretty card! I've been unsuccessfully searching for Elegant Edges...I would have loved to have found it during the $29.99 sale at Jo-Ann's. I've seen some beautiful projects made with it. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I love Elegant Edges, I just made a birthday "poster" I call it instead of a card. I use a decorative edge and add removable elements (pop dots) that can be rearranged to make a scrapbook page. Look at my facebook page or blog to see the first one I just did for my granddaughers 4th bday.
