Easter Candy Ideas (revisited)

I have spent most of the weekend so far organizing and doing paperwork (not the fun kind of paperwork).  I lost at least 20 pounds today - two large sacks full of recycling.  If you let your papers sit too long they do become easier to sort(!) but it is a chore whenever you do it.

The craftroom is coming along, slowly but surely...  Tomorrow will be "assembly day" if all goes as planned.  I packed up some more of the old Lego creations that were occupying some shelves that I can put to good use.  The Legos will stay in a few large lidded boxes in the storage room and they can come out to play when we have young relatives and friends here to visit.

I thought I'd link back to a few older posts with some ideas for Easter treats.  These bunny candy holders are easy to make and can be embellished as you like.  My original post about the bunnies with detailed directions and the file can be found HERE and a follow up post with some more helpful tips is HERE.

A few more ways to share candy can be found at THIS POST

The pillow box is from the Easter cartridge with some adaptations made in Design Studio.

The jelly bean pail  is a super simple project - just use a favor pail (mine was from the dollar store - 3 for $1) and add some vinyl cuts of bunnies with a bit of ribbon and  a butterfly.

Our snow is nearly melted - it didn't last long.  Easter will be here before you know it so why not get started on a few Easter treat packages!

  6. Thank you so much for "revisiting" the bunny treat baskets! I made seven of these today for my co-workers. I put pictures on my blog and sent a link back to this post so that people can get the details and your file. :)
