A "find" while grocery shopping

I needed to pick up a few things at Costco this week and I followed my usual habit of walking all of the aisles to get some exercise.  This is a dangerous habit because I always seem to find things for sale that I didn't know I "needed" (does this ever happen to you?).

I came across this scrapbooking tote full of supplies for only $19.97.  The colors were very appealing to me and there were some lovely ribbons, flowers, brads, lace, glitter, gems, paper, tags, pearls and even a three ring album - all in a useful tote.  So of course it "followed me home" and it is now contributing to the general clutter in my craftroom.  I am sure I will find uses for most of the  contents...eventually!

I haven't used any of the items yet but I am sure I will and the tote alone was probably worth the price.  I wasn't familiar with the company "Scrapabilities," so out of curiosity I did a search and found the exact same set on Amazon for $79.95 (with a "list" price of $98).  You can see it HERE.  I looked a little more and found that Scrapabilities has a Facebook Page HERE.

So that is my bit of "enabling" for today - if you are a Costco shopper take a look for this - I found it in the office supply area near the photo frames.

Be sure to visit the Creative Charms Blog this weekend for a chance to win a free Deal of the Month.  Just go to THIS POST on the Creative Charms Blog, sign up to follow the blog (or be a follower already) and leave a comment.  The winner will be announced Monday.

Don't forget to check back later to find out about the Million Plus Hits - Third Blogoversary - Home from the Cruise Celebration.  I need to take a few more photos in the daylight to have everything ready to post...

I hope you have a great weekend - a lot of our snow has melted so we may even get the large ornaments out of the tree in the front yard!

  7. Costco is on my list for next weeks shopping to restock, so now my walking the aisles excercise might garner me a treasure in the office supply section. YEAH!

  12. That looks like such a deal. Fortunately I don't have a Costco card. I told my family we are on a spending diet, because my son is in college and we want to go to Disney in May. We'll forget about my little run into Michael's yesterday for one thing. Diet's are hard :- )

  14. So sad. No Costco in my area. I did find some packs of cardstock at Walley World marked down to $2. Will be looking forward to your post about your blog anniversary home from the cruise, and no wonder you have so many hits with all the neat projects you do.
