CHA Booth - decorated with a Cricut!

One of the companies exhibiting at CHA was a new (less than two years old) stamp company from Scotland called Ladybug Crafts Ink.  They had a lot of very cute stamps and great samples.  We all found one other aspect of their booth very interesting - the decorations were all done with the Cricut - mostly good old original George!  You can read more about their CHA experiences on their blog HERE.  There are also more photos of the booth that give you a better look at the eye catching effects of those Cricut cuts!

Mandy and Enfys had fun choosing some stamps for Mandy to carry at Scrappy-Go-Lucky.  Be sure to watch out for these - I am not sure how long it will take until they are in stock but they are worth the wait.

The ladybugs are from Doodlecharms - lots of different sizes everywhere.  I am not sure off the top of my head which cartridge has these leaf clusters - it will be great to be able to search things out better on the new Cricut Craft Room site.

There were so many adorable cards - the coloring was well done and the images just make you smile!  This is not my "usual" type of card but I am planning on expanding my horizons a bit this year.  I took lots of photos of the samples (with the owner's permission) so I thought I'd share those photos to give you a some inspiration and to show you the stamps.  You can click on any photo to enlarge it and see the details more clearly.

My fingers are itching to get out the ProMarkers and start coloring - maybe tomorrow...

Thanks for all of the kind comments, prayers and good wishes on Tuesday.  The surgery went well and in a few weeks I should be able to tell if it has had the desired results.  I have been resting up and taking it easy.  For the first time in a long while I didn't even go into my craft room today - I'll be back there tomorrow!

  7. Hi Diane .. Feel better quickly, but please don't rush your recovery! Just an FYI: no need to wait for Cricut Craft Room to search for which cartridge made those lovely branches. Go to www.cricutsearch.com (it's FREE), and type in "branch" on the search bar. You'll find that branches can be found on 76 cartridges, including on ZOOBALLOO, which is where these branches can be found. Shawn and her tremendous team have done a fabulous job of compiling this search tool just for us Cricut users!!

  8. Hi, Diane. I am SO GLAD that the surgery went well! Fingers crossed that it worked! I too am not really big on these kinds of stamps/cards, but since I've gotten a few Copic Markers, I am eager to give them a try now. I really like a few of them. I'll have to look for some of these online (since we no longer have a SB store nearby) =^(

  9. Hi Diane

What a wonderful surprise to find my stand on your blog!! Your pictures are so much brighter and clearer than mine and they really show off the cards/stand/Cricut decoration wonderfully. I remember you snapping away but didn't expect to see the pictures. Thank you for taking the time to visit my stand and for your lovely comments.

  11. Diane, don't rush into anything especially lifting. My recovery is finally coming along after 5 months so I know from experience how important it is to obey the rules. I love seeing your photos of CHA so just keep those coming for awhile while you rest.

I am delighted with the pictures you posted of the LCI stand at CHA, Kerry is a good friend of mine, she has worked really hard to get her range of stamps out there, I was responsible for the cricut flower, branch and letter designs on the stand, it was great fun getting my cricut expression going at last,I am sure now I know about your fantastic blog I will be dropping by for some inspiration, keep up the great work Annette
