Congrats to Enfys on a wonderful celebration week and a fun blog hop. It was interesting to see how many people collected all of the letters and unscrambled the word. I had a small prize offered on my blog and I did the random draw Sunday night. And the winner is...

- OMGosh what a cute card! I love the tutorial. Thanks for the Hop Debi
I had an email asking if I could explain how to make a scalloped heart. I made a quick one to help me think through the steps. Here is a screen shot of the design (unwelded to show color and with two layers). I will try to get the explanation posted later today or on Tuesday. I left my Dad's and drove as far as my sister's in New Jersey on Sunday night and most of my Monday will be spent catching up with my sister and driving the rest of the way home.
Just remember when you are adding shapes inside another shape and welding you may have to "burp" the design by deleting an outer shape and adding it back (copy-delete-paste). The welds sometimes go wrong if the images are added in the wrong order. It usually works best if you start from the inside of the shape and work your way out. Sometimes it helps to just do the design on one page and not worry about the order and then copy and paste the individual pieces to a new mat, starting from the center and working your way outward in an orderly fashion.
I have an old video (from 2009) about "Welding in a Frame" that might be helpful - just click on the red words to go to the post. If I can fit it in I'll try to do an updated video showing how I made the heart.
The temperatures have dropped very low - I can't wait to be in sunny Southern California!
