A few quick notes...

I took things slow Saturday - I seem to have injured my shoulder somehow and it has been rather painful.  I did spend some time catching up on emails and comments - I'm still not quite finished but I'll post the consolidated answers later today.  I am also making a list of the topics for which videos have been requested and will try to get at least one of them posted later today as well.

Since so many of you do get an email each morning (and tell me that you count on it!) I have just a couple of things to tell you about until later today.

I was so happy to hear that one of my favorite designers, Monique Griffith, has finally finished a very intense course of treatment for inflammatory breast cancer.  She has had a difficult path and, now that treatment is over, she is relaunching her business.  Monique and her team (Wendy, Sue and Becca) do fabulous and intricate Cricut layouts and projects and their kits are legendary for their attention to detail.  Her newly redesigned website is HERE.

Monique has a new Facebook page as well so if you are a Facebook user please go to this link Monique Griffith Designs on Facebook and "like" it. There is a contest for referrals so, if you like what you see (and I know you will!) tell your friends and you could win a prize.  You can say that I told you to send yourself so that can count to your total.

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know that I often use Core'dinations cardstock.  I really like the colors and the way it cuts with the Cricut.  Two of my favorites are the Gemstone with a lovely pearl sheen and the Couture glitter cardstock.

Core'dinations has some new Core Impressions cardstock packs and you (and I) have a chance to win one of these new and unreleased packs.  These are pre-embossed with lovely designs.  Please use this LINK  to enter and we could both win one of these great new packs!  It's very simple to enter - you just enter your name, email and country and then say which of the new pre-embossed collections (by Basic Grey, Fancy Pants Designs, Jenni Bowlin Studio and My Mind's Eye) you like the most.

Don't forget to visit the Creative Charms Blog, become a follower and comment on THIS POST to have a chance to win a great prize of two Deal of the Month kits (pictured above).  You must enter by Sunday night.

You have until tonight to leave comments on any or all of the Valentine's posts from the 10th until today if you'd like to be the lucky winner of the assortment of items I used in some of these projects.  Has anyone found the fuzzy contact paper locally?  I haven't had a chance to go to the 5 and 10 to  look for more - maybe next week.

I did make something today that I really like (and I think you will too!)  I am just trying to figure out the best way to design a cut to make it with the Cricut.

Do you miss the blue along the sides of my blog?  I've decided to do some freshening up and will be changing things around over the next few weeks.  I am getting ready for something new and need to get everything tidied up - I may even do a blog button since people keep asking me for one!

  14. Hi, Diane.
Thought I'd leave a comment here too. I made the ornaments and they turned out wonderfully. LOVE them! Scooped up dozens of clear glass ornaments from Michaels clearance for kids at school for next year. Hope your shoulder is better soon! I always have one thing or another "giving out" or creaking...
