Anniversary Day

January 3, 1981 was our wedding day - so today we celebrated our 30th Anniversary.

My husband brought home 30 beautiful roses.

It took me a while to find a vase large enough for all of them - and I have a lot of vases!

We went out to dinner and our server snapped this photo.

Thirty years ago we certainly were thinner but I think you can still recognize us!

I did some crafting today and a lot of organizing and emailing.  I decided to sort out some things that have been creating clutter to get the new year off to a good start.

After we got home from dinner I used my Creative Memories StoryBook Creator Plus 3.0 software to create this image.  If you have any questions about how I did it, please leave a comment.  Creative Memories is having a great sale on albums and pages for the month of January.  You can save 20 percent off all scrapbook albums, scrapbook pages, Page Protectors and Side-Loading Sleeves. The sale also applies to pocket-style PicFolio® Photo Albums and digital StoryBook photo books. If you do not have a consultant that you work with, I would be happy to help you.  You can order through my Creative Memories personal website and have the order shipped to your door.  Here is a LINK to my site (there is also a link in the left side column).

I know that there is still a problem with the downloads and I am trying to get a solution sorted out.  It really isn't feasible for me to individually email the files to everyone - I wouldn't have any time left to create new ones!  I am so frustrated that 4shared will not take the time to review my account to see that there is nothing there that should not be.  I am researching other solutions but it will take me a long time to reupload the files and create new links.

Valentine's Day will be here before we know it and I have a lot of projects that I have been working on.  I'll be sharing them very soon and I hope you will enjoy them.  I'll have a normal "crafty" post for you tomorrow - thanks for sharing our anniversary!

Don't forget that Tuesday is the last day to leave a comment for the Promarker giveaway.

If you want to be included in the random draw for the set of ProMarkers from Letraset please be sure to leave your comment on the original post at THIS LINK.  These are the only comments that will be included  - one comment per person please.

  5. 30 years, you are a bit in front of me. What is 30 yrs is it pearl? Hope you had a fab day.

Now you are in your planning stage for the coming year I wonder if I might ask a favour of you! Here in the UK we get so little help from Provocraft and we are so disillusioned with the MB. We all used to love the old message board and had terrific chats but since moving to the new message board it is an entirely different story! We can’t stay logged in, we can’t have threads more than 15 pages long, we are restricted what we can discuss etc etc. So having a little time to spare (I don’t think) on New Year’s Day I created our own forum where we can stay logged in, we can discuss what we want – crafty or not, threads can be as short or long as we like etc etc. Basically we make the forum how we want and as admin I try to implement the requests to make them work. As one of our threads we have a monthly challenge, we are discussing a crciut lending library, a cricut cut swap, an atc swap, a stamped image swap, a shopping place recommendation etc etc I am sure you get the drift. Now another path I would like to follow is a guest designer project/tutorial one a month having various different designers each month. The ten million dollar question - Would you consider being one of our guests?

  10. Happy Anniversary! We just celebrated our 30th in November, too. Aren't we blessed to have such wonderful husbands who are supportive of our crafty addictions? I created a mini book for mine called The Little Things You Do and snuck around taking pictures to illustrate it. He was so surprised and touched. I got some ideas from your blog, so thank you for all you share!

  27. Happy Anniversary! DH & I will celebrate 31 years tomorrow. Are you like us -- we often wonder what we were thinking when we decided to get married so close to the holidays. We are usually too exhausted to do much celebrating! A nice quiet dinner & roses certainly fits the bill.
