Kitchen Crock Card for Scrappy-Go-Lucky
The Country Life cartridge is full of great images for the home and garden. I lived on a farm as a child and find that many of the images remind me of those years. One of my favorite items on the cartridge is this crock with cooking utensils. My Mother had a crock for various tools and this image brought back a lot of memories.
When Mandy at Scrappy-Go-Lucky sent me this cartridge I knew I wanted to make something using this image! Scrappy-Go-Lucky is based in Australia with UK and US sites as well. I am really looking forward to meeting up with Mandy, the owner, and the other Design Team members next January at CHA in Los Angeles!
Our son and his girlfriend have moved into a new apartment and I wanted to send a card with some gift funds for the inevitable expenses of setting up a new place. I designed this card to hold a check or gift card inside.
If you would like to see how I made this card and download the file, please visit the Scrappy-Go-Lucky blog, here is a LINK to the post. I'd love to see your version of this card if you download the file.
Thanks again for all of the support you have been giving me in the Creative Memories contest to win a Cricut Cruise. The contest continues until the 23rd and you can click on the image of my layout at the top right of the blog to go directly to the voting page. You need to wait a full 24 hours between votes, so if you can't vote because it already says "I voted" please try back a little later in the day.

Cute card, and perfect for your gift card presentation. I can relate to your story about your Mom's crock in the kitchen; my Mom had one, too and I still remember exactly what it looked like! Funny how such random things just stand out in your memory, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThat's how I store my utensils now! *LOL* Love this project - the inside looks so polished as well :)
