Celebration Fireworks
The Concord 375th Birthday Celebration ended with a concert on the grounds of the high school and a fantastic fireworks display. I forgot to bring a tripod but I took a lot of photos and then chose a few to edit for a fireworks layout (coming soon).
The birthday cake from the parade was moved to the fireworks site and displayed on the field. I wonder what will happen to it now. I think it would be fun to have a birthday party inside the cake! Here is an abbreviated version of the show for you to enjoy. Get ready to "ooh" and "ah" - I wish the photos could capture the feeling of watching these amazing fireworks in person...
When I was writing and editing photos tonight, I realized that this will be the 800th published post on my blog. I'd like to do something to celebrate, however, I think I will wait until after the Cricut Imagine launch (midnight tomorrow night!) since that seems to be what most of my readers will be occupied with for a few days. I am also going to try changing my schedule a bit so there will be two posts in one email on Monday for those of you who are subscribers. There are a few other changes in the works and I am excited to share those as soon as I can.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and rested up so you can stay up late and watch the Imagine launch oh HSN - I'll "see" you there!

The fireworks photos are spectacular! I can't ever get mine to turn out that well. You'll have to make a post for hints on how to do that.
ReplyDeleteWe're going to Concord this weekend (but the one in NH). I also get to see my first game at Fenway since 1979. Looking fwd to a great fall weekend in New England.
