Some Digital Sales to Share

I know that many of my blog readers are still having very hot weather but we have had rainy and cool weather all week here in Massachusetts.  There is a definite feeling of autumn on the way and so my thoughts are turning to the fall holidays.  I haven't posted a lot of digital projects recently but I want to let those of you who enjoy digital crafting know about some great sales. 

I created the Halloween image at the top of this post using my Creative Memories StoryBook Creator Plus 3.0 software and some graphics from Lettering Delights.  I am excited to tell you that Dollar Days are back at Lettering Delights and nearly all of their products are on sale for just $1 per item (mini albums, software and bundles are not included).

For the image above I used the Bootiful Overlays graphic set and the Black Magic graphic set and used various colors and effects from the StoryBook program to adapt the designs and create the textured backgrounds.

The same overlay can be adapted in the StoryBook program for an entirely different look.  Here I used papers from the Reminisce Digital Power Palette to create a background for a scrapbook page.  One of my favorite things about digital crafting is the ability to change your designs with the click of a mouse and create entirely different looks using the same basic elements.  It is also great that you never "run out" of a digital paper!

Twisted Papers is another one of my favorite sites for vintage images which can be printed or used for digital projects.  The images are available on CDs or as downloads.  I used one of their images to create this floral star.

I have a few Halloween projects that I have designed and hope to test cut tomorrow.  It is a busy time since our son will be returning to college this week.  If you are still having hot weather why not just "think fall" and start doing some seasonal projects to take your mind off the weather!
