Home at Last

I spent the day traveling - my flight from Madison was delayed so I couldn't make my connecting flight in D.C. and had to be rebooked on a later flight.  So it was a very long day but I am finally back in Massachusetts and happy to see my family again.  I wanted to tell you more about my sister's bed and breakfast and to share the project we did, but I'll need to wait and do that tomorrow.

I've had a few questions about the exclusive Creative Memories Cricut cartridges.  They are available to order now through a Creative Memories consultant.  If you do not have a consultant I would be happy to help you - here is the LINK to my site (it is also in the side column of my blog and under the "Shop" tab and the top of the page).

Here is the LINK for the Reminisce Accents cartridge

and here is the LINK for the Cheerful Seasons cartridge.  These images are from the Cricut.com site.  I have not been able to find a link for the complete cartridge handbook - I will post it if I find one.  Both cartridges contain both images and fonts.

There is not a bundle or package deal with the cartridges but the coordinating paper sets do have a discount for purchasing the complete "Power Palette."  These images are from the CM site and will give you an idea of the patterns and designs for each paper pack.

Here is the LINK for Reminisce

and here is the LINK for Cheerful.

I have already ordered the cartridges and I am eager to try them.  I do not know when they will be added to Design Studio and the Gypsy (but I am hoping for the next update).

I recently had a reader ask me how to go about lining a purchased envelope.  I described the steps I would take to do this in an email.  I was worried that the directions might not be clear from my email so I made a graphic with my StoryBook Creator Plus 3.0 software.  I recently heard from her and the method I described worked out well for her project so I thought I'd share the graphic in case anyone else is working on a similar project.  You could figure out the dimensions using this method and then make a .cut or .gypsy file if you have a large number of liners to make.

I am still catching up with emails and messages after the trip - please be patient if you haven't heard back from me yet...

  3. It is alwasy so nice to go places but then to get home feels sooo good too. Is the picture of the leaves a hint of the project you did with your sister? Those are so much fun to do and they leave you with a reminder of one of the plants in your garden.
