Getting Ready...

It seems that my craft room will never get picked up - there just aren't enough hours in a day.  I have been busy getting ready for a trip.  I am leaving this weekend to visit my sister in Wisconsin and then I will be heading to Chicago for the CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) Show.  I am excited to have a chance to meet lots of people I know only through message boards, blogs, email and phone calls.

My roommate at the show will be Susan Edwards of Busy with the Cricky. Susan is another one of my entrepreneurial friends and she has a new venture.  She just finished  It's a Kid's Life, a DVD set with videos, cut files and instructions for 18 layouts perfect for scrapping photos of your child or grandchild.  She has been sharing some sneak peeks on her blog and you can order the DVD set there as well.  Her work is always exceptional and this is sure to be a big hit!

There is lots of speculation about the "next big thing" coming from ProvoCraft.  For a great summary of current information you can check Kay's blog, Clever Someday.  She has listed what is "known" about this new machine so far.  If you aren't familiar with her blog already, be prepared to spend some time looking around - it is full of all sorts of helpful (and clever) information.

I'll have a few more projects to share before I leave - and some "on the road" projects as well.  I'll also be posting while I am at CHA.  If you will be at the show please let me know - maybe we can meet up!

  2. I'm jealous. CHA seems like it would be a blast. In addition, the idea of being anywhere north of Georgia is very interesting.

The new Cricut machine is very intriguing. It will be interesting to hear all about it and the things it can do.

Have a wonderful time. I'll be living vicariously through you and some of the other bloggers.
