Sweet Treats Thursday and Cricut news...

Thanks so much for all the get well wishes - I think I am starting to improve after lots of rest, tea and some medicine.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do a project for the Sweet Treats Thursday this week.  Be sure to visit the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot to see all of the great Mardi Gras projects my fellow designers have created.  I will have a post in the Design Studio Series on Cuttlebug Challenge on Saturday - if you missed the first installment you can see it HERE and also enter for a chance to win the Design Studio software.

Cricut on TV

I just found out that The Early Show on CBS will be showing Cricut Expression this Friday, Feb. 19. I don't have the exact time but it will probably be featured in the Tech segment on Crafty Gadgets.

Also, on March 15, 2010 at 10/9 central TLC will air an episode of Ultimate Cake Off showing the contestants using the Cricut Cake. Check your local listings to confirm the time.

This Thursday is "Hello Thursday" - third Thursday of the month - and I can't wait to see what is new!  I imagine that the Calendar Girls (Joy and Melanie) will be previewing some new cartridges so you will want to visit their blog Holidays with the Cricut.  Be sure to check the Cricut.com site to see what is new.

I want to thank Tammy  of Creative Critters Cricut Club for posting a list of Gypsy Designers and including me.  Here is a LINK to her post.  I share my files as .cut files but many of them can be easily converted to .gypsy files. Some of my files won't work with the Gypsy (such as the ones that use "hide selected contour").  If you would like a file for the Gypsy and need it converted, you can email me to let me know.

I'll be back to a regular "crafty" post tomorrow - thanks for being patient with all the things that are going on in my "real life" lately that have made it difficult to keep up with daily posts.  Our neighbors are slowly getting all of the things that need to be done after the fire taken care of - the rebuilding process will probably take a year or so.  If you missed the information I posted and would like to send a card, this LINK will take you to the post - just scroll to the end for the details.
