Another Mystery Design....

I was searching through my files for a design I made for one of my current "secret" projects and I stumbled across this file - I reworked it and I plan to test cut it tomorrow. I think when I made it I was working on an idea for a 60's ATC swap and I thought it had a "mod" look (but I ended up doing something else for the ATC).

I thought I'd post it tonight and have a little contest. I haven't posted a "mystery design" for a while. The first person who leaves a comment on this post and correctly guesses what cartridge or cartridges I used to create this design will get a prize from me. It won't be anything as exciting as the Gypsy but it is just for fun! (If you haven't checked the Cricut Message Board, the Gypsy winners have been drawn - I was not one of them but I want to say congrats to the winners - how exciting for them!). If you don't know about the Gypsy yet - here is a LINK to the official site.

This design is intended to be used as a card topper for a 5 x 7 card. All sorts of color combinations are possible for this funky background. I can't wait to show you what I have been working on - I will reveal it as soon as I can...

  5. I'm guessing the O is from Cuttin Up, and the square could be George or Plantin or a bizillion others with squares/rectangles!

Whichever carts they are from, they (and you) make a great design! Love all the mesh projects!

  7. Not sure Diane, but this reminds me of the "O" from Alphalicious - with the help of maybe George or Plantin Schoolbook? - great design, very retro!

  8. Ok, second guess - I think the "o" is Lyrical letters and the boxes are from George. If not, it's still cool!

  11. This looks like the o from Teardrop slanted and placed inside the little square. The little circles in the corner of the square would have their contour hidden.

  12. Okay--I have spent at last 45 minutes comparing cartridges with your list to determine which ones you haven't used yet. The biggest problem is that you are too good with DS and can manipulate a square to be a circle (well almost). My guess: Street Sign--except when I try my "O" is too fat...

  13. Hi Susan,

Sorry - I didn't mean to make you spend so much time on this!

Thanks for the compliment on my DS skills (!) - often it is just a matter of using something in a different way than it was intended and it is fun to try unusual combinations.

Lianne just guessed correctly - it was Sesame Street Font.

Lianne correctly guessed Sesame Street Font (See August 2nd comments).

    Thanks for playing along.
