By George, I think I've got it!



After much trial and error, I think I have finally found a way to share the videos I have been making so that all of the people who read my blog can see them! Unfortunately, I was not able to accomplish this for free. I ended up purchasing an upgraded version of the software I was using so I can now save video in a format that is compatible with YouTube.

What a learning curve this has been! I have learned far more than I ever thought I'd need to know about video file formats, bandwidth limitations, variations in browsers that limited viewing for some people, etc., etc., etc. I now have an account on YouTube and can embed the videos right here on my blog. I don't think the picture quality is as sharp as it was in the .swf videos, but you should be able to see what I am demonstrating. I will try to go back and redo the first four video topics in this new format, but that may take a few days (or more - I have lots of other projects in the works here!).

Here is the next video - "Welding in a Frame". Please let me know if there are any issues with watching this one (I sure hope there are none!). In the meanwhile, I will get back to setting up the online lesson site!

    That was the best explanation and instruction on burping the frame that I have seen. thank you so much. Great job, love your videos as well as your work.

    Thanks for this video. I watched and enjoyed the learning curve. I did find it didnt stream too well so I just let it download so far and then put it back to the beginning and started the video again. This took out all the stopping and starting and the video played smoothly and was clear to both see and hear. Well done I think you have got there.

    excellent! Thank you so much! I have been a cricut and DS user for a very long time, fairly computer savvy but never could master "burping"... tada... never again will that be a problem. Some of us need to see it, not read it! :-)

    That was great. FYI, when I clicked on the link you gave it did not work for me. However, I just had to search your title in Youtube and found it immediately and was able to watch it. It was easy enought to do that I just wanted to let you know in case someone else had a problem.

    Wow! I FINAALLY get it! Thank you for this, I really needed it. I was frustrated the other day while trying to make a card. I had to redo everything because it wasn't "burped" properly, but thanks to you, I'll get it next time!!!

You make it look so easy and your instructions are very informative and easy to follow.Just at a nice pace.     BLESS you !!! You are a SAINT!!! I hope that this technique will work for what I am trying to accomplish...I want to make a half ofld card. I would like for the front of it to be my daughters name and the back to be a plain rectangle. So when it is folded...the name will be the front and the rectangle the back. I have tried it several times by adding the letters to the rectangle. This time I am going to add the triangle to the letters...BOY OH BOY do I hope this works...I am beyond desperate...

    Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. It's the simplest things that really help us beginners! Please keep them coming! I'd be interested in learning how to do layering (if that's what it's called!) What I would like to learn is how to create something, a ladybug for example, and be able to cut it in different colors. I'm thinking it's necessary to use separate pages for parts of the ladybug and then print each page separately. Thanks again! PS I appreciate that you use the 6x12 mat too for us baby bug users!

    perfect demo, I was actually able to focus... that says a lot because I'm a type A borderline ADHD, but your voice was perfect, not too slow and not too fast so I actually stayed still long enough to learn.... where were you when I was in college? LOL
