Simple Scalloped Full Page Square

A new Design Studio user asked me for some help in making a full page scalloped square similar to the scalloped paper available in stores. Due to the "uncuttable" area at the edges of the 12 x 12 mat, we can't cut to the very edge of the paper so I made this slightly smaller than full page - it looks nice centered on a page with the outer border of background showing in another color.



I also made a scalloped frame for a full page (as seen above) in the same file. You can do some mixing and matching with these cuts. Here is the center square from the frame layered on the full scalloped square.

The offcut is slightly asymmetrical but don't throw it away... you can trim it and use the pieces for the edges of cards.

Since this was meant to be used for a 12 x 12 page and cut on the Expression, I used Plantin Schoolbook to create the file. To make the file more quickly, I welded the scallop strips available on the cartridge together instead of using individual circles to create the edge.
