Snowflake Card

As I promised yesterday, here is a quick card I made with one of the "circled snowflakes." I heat embossed the cut with sparkle embossing powder. (I may have overdone it a bit - it looks like I melted the powder right through the cardstock!)

The sentiment was stamped with a Studio G clear stamp (a new dollar set from ACMoore) - stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with the sparkle powder.

Above is a close up view of the sparkled snowflake (sorry for the weird color shift - the card is actually the brighter blue color you can see in the first two photos).

Has anyone tried using these designs for cookie or cupcake stencils yet?

I want to say thanks to so many people for commenting on my blog lately - I am trying to catch up with the emails and answer questions but I had a busy weekend (I was at a stamping event most of the day Saturday) so it is taking me a bit longer than usual to respond to everyone. In some cases questions or suggestions have been left in a comment with no identity or email address for me to reply to - I will try to respond in the comments section but it is much easier if you leave your name and how to contact you. You can also send an email directly to capadiadesigns@gmail.com. I do appreciate hearing from people who have downloaded and used my files and I love to see projects people make from these files.

I also want to clarify that when I mentioned the other day that there had been no comments despite many downloads on the 4shared site I was simply looking for information about how the download site was working. I have had a lot of requests to do classes and I am about to change several things about the structure of my blog in connection with the classes. One of the first steps was to set up a new file sharing system so I would no longer need to take advantage of the generosity of Amanda, a Cricut Message Board friend, who has been sharing her SendSpace account with me and Okieladybug as well as a number of other designers/bloggers.

If I allowed myself to get "hung up" on the number of downloads vs. the number of comments I would have stopped sharing long ago - the number of downloads when I added them up a few weeks ago was well over 60,000 (!) I am flattered and happy to know that many people enjoy my designs and find my files easy to use. It is nice to hear thanks, but I understand that many people do not comment for whatever reason and, since there is nothing I can do about that, I just don't worry about it.

Below is a sneak preview of a new set of designs you'll find here soon - more heat embossing on this one - I love the sparkle!
