Joys of the Season Snowflakes in Circles
Are you getting tired of snowflakes yet? (!) Here are the files using the snowflakes on the Joys of the Season cartridge. Once again, these are all adjustable files so you can size them to suit your project.
I think by now you have enough variations to make quite a pretty and varied display. I'd love to see photos of any projects you make using these. Below you can see photos of my test cuts of these files (I finally did some using traditional white instead of the "contemporary" colors I used for the last two posts).
I am starting to wonder if there is a problem with the download site - there are well over 200 downloads of the first two snowflake files but not a single comment has been left on the 4Shared site. My preference is for comments to be left right here on the blog (just click on "comments" at the bottom of any post and, if you do not have a Google account, check "Anonymous" and leave your name or message board identity). However, I would appreciate it if someone would please try to comment ( a quick "thanks!" will do) on the download page - thank you for helping me figure out if I should keep this download system.

Thank you so much for these beautiful .cut files. You have done a great job on all of them.
ReplyDeleteI also want to thank you for all the ideas you share with us. They have been so helpful to me. I am so happy that you had shown how to use the mat with so many different papers placed to cut the extra parts of designs. That has saved me so much paper!!
Thank you for sharing your files w us. I'll learn someday...

Capadia,
ReplyDeleteEven though I've not downloaded any of the snowflake images, I'll still say thanks! And, when I went to the 4shared website the last time, it asked you to register to be able to leave a comment (which is different than it used to be... maybe that's why??)
Thanks for the snowflakes. I have many ideas but not a great deal of time to play right now. I love all your designs.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful designs with us, Cap...the download went very smoothly with your new system you're using (nice not to get all the questionable pop-ups that come with MediaFire). You're the best!

Thanks for the files. I love them, and just in time to make my Christmas cards!
ReplyDeleteI love the download site, the countdown to when the download is ready is helpful. I wanted to sign up to comment in the sharing site, but I'm starting to get a bunch of spam and I'm trying to limit my logins to sites until I can figure it out!
Hi Diane. When I try to cut the snowflakes that I downloaded from you the welds aren't working. I Get a snowflake separate from the circle. Basically the inner circle that you welded to the flake doesn't cut. Can you help me? Wanda
ReplyDeleteWanda - I did answer your other email but in case someone is reading these comments and has the same question I will answer here.
ReplyDeleteYou do have to be sure that you are using the August update version of the software - that is where the ability to weld within an existing frame was added. The version number is 1.0.20815.0 (displays when you first load the software). I have heard that a new update is coming in the next few days.
If you are using that version and have trouble try closing the program and rebooting - it sometimes helps.
Thank you so much for sharing your cut files. You do amazing work!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your files, and thanks for your obsession with snow flakes, I love them.
